“اتركني وشأني!” صرخ عادل. “آخ!”
شد عماد شعر أخيه بينما كان عادل يلعب بلعبة الفيديو. "لقد حان دوري الآن!" أعطني إياها!" طلب عادل.
"لا، إنه ملكي!" أصر عماد وهو يدفع عادل بشده بقوة، مما سبب خبط رأسه بالحائط.
قبل أن يتمكن عادل من يلتف إلى أخيه، ظهرت والدتهم في المدخل. "ما الذي يدور حوله هذا المضرب؟" لقد سألت.
بدأ كلا الصبيين في التكلم في نفس الوقت، لكنها أسكتتهما. "أعرف لماذا تتشاجران وما يدور حوله كل هذا." يتعلق الأمر بهذا المعبود!"
عبس الأولاد. "أي معبود يا أمي؟" ليس لدينا أي أصنام."
"بالطبع لديكما." انظرا، يمسكها عادل في يده في تلك اللحظة."
نظر كلاهما إلى لعبة الفيديو في يد عادل بينما أوضحت أمي، "أنت تحب لعبة الفيديو هذه أكثر مما تحبا بعضكما البعض، وهي تجعلكما تعاملان بعضكما البعض بشكل سيء. إنه يسبب لكما الخطيئة ضد الله. ماذا ستفعلان حيال ذلك؟"
قضى جدعون يوما حافلا بالأحداث…
… ضرب القمح في مكبس العنب،
…تلاقى مع ملاك الرب،
… شاهد معجزة النار الملتهمة،
ثم بناء مذبح السلام مع الرب. .
في نفس الليلة، أثناء العبادة والصلاة إلى الرب، طلب جدعون من الرب أن يمنحه الحكمة ليعرف كيف يخلص شعب إسرائيل من أعدائهم. ولكن، أولا، أراد الرب اختبار جدعون لمعرفة مدى جديته بشأن طاعته والثقة به بدلا من أصنام عائلته، لذلك تحدث إليه وأعطاه أربعة أشياء للقيام بها.
قال الله لجدعون، "أولا، خذ أفضل ثور لوالدك يواش الابيعزري. إنه الثور الثاني ابن سبع سنين. اصعد إلى حصن التل حيث يعبد الناس اصنامهم، فك الثور المربوط من مذبح عائلة ابوك ، اذبح الثور واتي به الي هنا وقدمه ذبيحة.
"ثانيا، اهدم مذبح البعل واقطع نصب عشتاروث الذي الي جواره."
"ثالثا، ابني مذبحا لي، الرب،علي رأس هذا الحصن باستخدام الحجارة غير المقطوعة، ولكن تأكد من وضعها بعناية بالترتيب الصحيح."
"رابعا، خذ الثور واصعده محرقة علي خشب النصب الذي قطعته لي."
عرف جدعون في قلبه أنه يجب عليه التخلص من جميع اصنام عائلته إذا كان الرب سيخلصهم من أعدائهم، لذلك أطاع على الفور. قام بتجميع عشرة من خدم عائلتهم وأخبرهم بما سيفعلونه.
"لكن يا سيدي"، قال أحد الخدم، "هل أنت متأكد من أن هذا ما يجب أن نفعله؟" أنت تعلم أنه يمكن أن تكون هناك عواقب وخيمة إذا لمسنا مذبح البعل والصنم عشتاروث. قد يحاول أفراد عائلتك وسكان المدينة إيقافنا. قد يهاجموننا ويقتلوننا لمحاولتنا تدمير هذه الرجاسات!"
"أنا متأكد من أن هذا ما طلب مني الرب أن أفعله!" قال جدعون بحزم. "أعرف المخاطر التي نواجهها، ولكن يجب أن نطيع الله." لهذا السبب سنفعل ذلك الليلة بينما ينام الجميع. اذهب، اعثر على ذلك الثور! احضرالحبل ولا تنس الفأس! دعنا نذهب!"
بهدوء قدر استطاعتهم، أخذ جدعون والخدم الثور بننيره والحبل والفأس، وصعدوا الي الحصن فوق التل. عند الوصول إلى قمة التل، ربطوا الحبل بإحكام بمذبح البعل، وربطوا الطرف الآخر من الحبل بالطوق الذي على الثور.
"اسحب…." اسحب!" أمر جدعون.
ببطء بدأ مذبح البعل في الإطاحة به ثم فجأة، تحطم على الأرض، وتحطم إلى أجزاء وقطع. الحمد لله، اكتملت المهمة رقم واحد!
"أحضر لي الفأس!" طلب جدعون. قطع جدعون المعبود الخشبي عشتاروث حتى انهار أيضا. ثم تناوب الخدم على تقطيعها إلى قطع أصغر لاشعال النار من أجل ذبيحة الرب. الحمد لله، اكتملت المهمة رقم اثنين!
"الآن يجب أن نبني مذبحا للرب!" أخبر جدعون خدامه. "احرصوا على استخدام الأحجار غير المقطوعة فقط وفقا لوصايا الله وبناءها بالترتيب الصحيح." أخذوا أفضل وأكبر الأحجار غير المقطوعة التي يمكنهم العثور عليها، حجرا حجرا، قاموا ببناء المذبح للرب علي الحصن. الحمد لله، اكتملت المهمة رقم ثلاثة!
ثم في الساعات الأولى من الصباح، قبل الفجر مباشرة - بينما كان لا يزال الظلام - أضحى جدعون وعبيده وقدموا ثور الذبيحة على المذبح الذي بنوه للرب. الحمد لله، اكتملت المهمة رقم أربعة!
يمكن رؤية التهام النار من الذبيحة لأميال بعيدة، وملأت رائحة الدخان الحلوة الهواء، ولكن لم يلاحظ شخص واحد من عائلة جدعون أو من المدينة ما كان يحدث، لأنهم كانوا جميعا لا يزالون نائمين.
أم كانوا كذلك؟؟؟
سعداء لأنهم فعلوا ما أمر به الرب، انسل جدعون وعبيده بهدوء إلى منازلهم، معتقدين أنه لا أحد يعرف ما فعلوه سرا في الظلام. كان جدعون قلقا بعض الشيء، لأنه تساءل عما سيحدث عندما يتم اكتشاف كل ما فعلوه، لكنه وثق في الرب بانه سيعتني بكل شيء.
عندما وصل جدعون إلى منزله، وجد والده ينتظره عند الباب.
"يا ابني، أين كنت وماذا حدث للثور الذي حزت عليه؟" سأله بصوت غضوب.
عرف جدعون أن الوقت قد حان الآن للاعتراف بما فعله. أخبر والده بكل شيء، بدءا من ملاك الرب الذي أمره بخلاص إسرائيل، ثم معجزة النار وذبيحة السلام مع الرب، وأخيرا، أخبره كل شيء عن تدمير مذبح بعل ومعبود عشتاروث . ثم، تساءل جدعون عما سيقوله والده، أخبره أيضا عن المذبح الذي بناه للرب إلههم وكيف قدم ثور ابيه كذبيحة.
صُدم يواش، على أقل تقدير، ولكن بعد لحظات قليلة من التفكير، قال: "يا ابن، كنت سأوبخك لتعريض حياة عائلتنا للخطر ولقتل الثور الذي حزت عليه، ولكن هذا من الرب. كل ما يفعله! أشعر بسعادة غامرة لأن الرب القدير، إله إسرائيل، سينقذنا أخيرا من المديانيين، ومن بين جميع الناس، اختار ابني لينفذ مشيئته. أنا معك يا بني. لا تخف. كن شجاعا لأن الرب معك!"
بينما كان الفجر ينفجر وكانت الجمر من نار ذبيحة جدعون لا تزال مشتعلة، شخص ما اكتشف أن مذبح بعل قد تم هدمه وكسره إلى قطع. ليس ذلك فحسب، بل كان الصنم المعبود بجانبه مفقودا، مع مذبح جديد بني في مكانه لا يزال عليه اثار الذبيحة.
ركض الشخص الذي قام إكتشاف ما حدث نحو المدينة، مما أثار قلق جميع الناس، وصرخ في أعلى رئتيه، "الحقوا ! لقد هاجم شخص ما طريقة حياتنا! مذبح بعل الخاص بنا محطم! لقد ذهب معبودنا في آشيرا! بنى شخص ما مذبحا للرب فوق الحصن وقدم ثور كذبيحة! يجب أن ننتقم للبعل وأشيرة قبل أن يغضبا منا ويدمرانا!"
كان الجميع مستائين وطالبوا، "من فعل هذا؟ من هو الجاني؟"
خرج الجواسيس للاستفسار في كل مكان حتى ظهرت الحقيقة في النهاية. "كان جدعون، ابن يواش!"
بحلول هذا الوقت، كان حشد غاضب قد تجمع في منزل والد جدعون. "أخرج ابنك!" صرخوا إلى يواش. " !يجب أن يموت لإهانة مذبح بعل ولقطع المعبود عشتاروث"
بتشجيع من شجاعة ابنه، صرخ يواش لهم، "هل يحتاج بعل حقا إلى مساعدتكم؟ هل تريدوا حقا القتال من أجله؟ أولئك الذين يريدون القتال من أجله سيقتلون هذا الصباح بالذات! إذا كان البعل إلها حقا، فدعه يعتني بنفسه ويدمر الشخص الذي هدم معبوده!"
هدأ غضب الناس وهم يفكرون في رد يواش، مدركين أنه كان يقول الحقيقة. عادوا واحدا تلو الآخر إلى منازلهم، ولديهم أفكار ثانية حول قوة بعل.
انتشرت أخبار فعل جدعون في جميع أنحاء أرض إسرائيل، ومنذ ذلك الحين، أطلق على جدعون اسم "جيروببال"، وهو لقب يعني، "دع بعل يقاتل من أجل نفسه لأنه اُسقط مذبحه!"
تذكر!
أي شيء نحبه أكثر من الله، ونضع ثقتنا فيه، هو معبود ويجعلنا نخطئ ضد الله.

٧- ما اللقب الذي أطلق على جدعون؟
٨- هل لديك معبود في حياتك؟ كيف تهدمه؟
٩- هل ستضع الله أولا في حياتك مهما حدث؟

"فَأَجَابَ بُطْرُسُ وَالرُّسُلُ وَقَالُوا:«يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُطَاعَ اللهُ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ النَّاسِ." (أعمال الرسل 5:29)
