ايليا وأنبياء البعل

استمرت ظروف الجفاف في التدهور. بالكاد كان هناك أي ماء يمكن العثور. عليه في أي مكان. يبس النهر منذ فترة طويلة لانه لم يكن مطر ، وأصبحت الأنهار برك طينية علي وشك الجفاف. كان الطعام شحيحا للناس وللحيوانات. في الواقع، ماتت العديد من الحيوانات بالفعل بسبب نقص العشب.
بدأ الملك اخاب فيالقلق بشأن قطعانه الخاصة من الماشية وقطعان الأغنام. فدعا اخاب عوبديا، غلامه إلى جانبه.
"عوبديا" قال " يجب ان نفعل شيئا قبل ان تموت الحيوانات.اذهب في الارض الي جميع عيون الماء والاودية لعلنا نجد عشبا فنحيي الخيل والبغال . لعلنا نجد العشب والماء. اذهب في اتجاه واحد وسأذهب في الاتجاه الآخر".
لذلك انطلق الملك آخاب وعوبديا في اتجاهات مختلفة، بحثا عن العشب والمياه العذبة.
بينما كان عوبديا يبحث هنا وهناك، في محاولة للعثور على برك الطين والعشب، رأى رجلا يسير نحوه. فكر في نفسه: "أتساءل من يمكن أن يكون ذلك". مع اقتراب الرجل، تعرف عليه عوبديا. لماذا، هذا إيليا! هتف بصوت عال وركض لمقابلته.
"إيليا! إيليا! هل هذا أنت حقا؟" سأل بحماس.
نعم، أنا هو واريدك أن تعمل لي معروفا كبيرا.
"ما هذا يا سيدي؟" سأل عوبديا بأدب.
أوضح إيليا: "أريدك أن تذهب، أخبر الملك آخاب سيدك أنني هنا وأريد رؤيته".|
كان عوبديا خائفا على الفور. لم يكن هذا شيئا يريد القيام به. "كيف يمكنك حتى التفكير في أن تطلب مني أن أفعل مثل هذا الشيء؟" سأل عوبديا بدهشة "ألا تعلم أن الملك آخاب يكرهك ويطلب قتلك؟ ألا تعلم أن الملك يلومك لأنه لم يكن هناك أي مطر طوال هذه السنوات؟ بالإضافة إلى ذلك، كان الملك يبحث عنك. في كل مرة يظن فيها أنه يعرف مكانك،، تهرب ولا يمكن لأحد أن يجدك. إذا أخبرته أنك هنا ستهرب مرة أخرى؛ سيرغب في قتلك أنت وأنا. أنا آسف يا إيليا. أنا لا أستطيع فعل ذلك.!"
نظر إيليا إلى عوبديا وأوضح بصبر: "سيكون الأمر على ما يرام يا عوبديا. أعدك بأنني سأكون هنا.. أعدك بأنني سأرى الملك. الآن من فضلك، فقط اذهب وأخبره أنني أرغب في التحدث إليه."
أنت! أنت! أنت مكدر اسرائيل، صرخ الملك آخاب بغضب " بل انت المكدر السبب في انعدام المطر.!"
أجاب إيليا: "لا يا ملك". بل انت السبب في كل هذه المشاكل بتركك وصايا يهوه الاله الحقيقي الوحيد. وسيرك وراء البعل. ابتعدت عنه ، الإله الحقيقي الوحيد. أنت تعبد الإله الكاذب . لقد تسببت في خطيئة شعب إسرائيل من خلال عبادة الاوثان، . لقد جلبت انت كل هذه المتاعب إلى إسرائيل
الان ارسل واجمع انبياء البعل اربع المئة والخمسين وانبياء السواري اربع المئة. وأن تقابلني في جبل الكرمل."
ارسل الملك آخاب كما قال إيليا وجمع الأنبياء. تجمع حشد كبير من شعب اسرائيل، أيضا لمعرفة ما سيحدث.
وتقدم إيليا أمام جميع الشعب. وقال إلى متى تعرجون بين الفريقين. تعبدون البعل و يهوه؟ لا يمكنكم خدمة أكثر من إله واحد. إذا كان البعل هو الله، فاعبدوه. ! إذا كان يهوه هو الله، فاعبدوه ، خذوا قرارا. يجب أن تختاروا واحدا أو آخر."
ثم قال إيليا "سنبدأ التحدي لنرى من هو الإله الحقيقي." أخبرهم بإحضار ما يكفي من الخشب لبناء مذبحين - أحدهما ليهوه، والآخر للبعل اخبرهم أن يحضروا ثورين للذبيحة - واحدة ليهوه وواحدة للبعل.
بنى أنبياء البعل البالغون 450 مذبحهم. لقد أعدوا الحيوان للذبيحة . ثم بدأوا في الصلاة: "يا بعل، اسمعنا! يا بعل،اسمعنا!" من الصباح حتى الظهر استمروا في الصراخ.
كان إيليا يستهزأ ويسخر منهم: "ما الحال؟ ألا يستطيع الهكم سماعك؟ هل قام برحلة؟ لماذا لا يجيبكم؟ ربما يتحدث إلى شخص آخر. ربما يجب أن تصرخوا بصوت اعلى ."
لقد مر منتصف النهار، والآن كان الوقت متأخرا في المساء، وكان أنبياء بعل لا يزالون يصرخون ويصرخون بأعلى أصواتهم. ما زال البعل لا يستمع.
أخبر إيليا الأشخاص الذين كانوا يتطلعون إلى التجمع من حوله. أخذ اثني عشر حجرا لتميم المذبح، واستخدم الخشب الذي تم إحضاره، وأعد الثور للذبيحة! ثم فعل شيئا غريبا بالفعل.
طلب من الناس أن يحضروا له أربعة براميل من الماء. بدا الأمر غريبا جدا بالنسبة لهم، لكنهم أحضروا الماء. سكب الماء على المذبح وعلى الذبيحة.
أخبرهم أن يحضروا له أربعة جرات اخري من الماء.
"ماذا حدث لهذا الرجل؟ ألا يعلم أن هناك نقصا في المياه؟" كانوا يدندنون فيما بينهم. لكنهم أحضروا الماء بطاعة. سكب الماء على المذبح وعلى الذبيحة.
لم يكن ذلك كافيا لإيليا. أخبرهم أن يحضروا له اربعة جرات اخري من الماء.
"كم من الماء سيضيع؟" همس شخص ما. مرة أخرى فعلوا كما قيل لهم وأحضروا الماء. سكب ذلك الماء على المذبح وعلى الذبيحة. كانت الذبيحة غارقة بالماء. كانت المياه تتدفق من الخشب، وعلى الحجارة، وعلى الأرض. حفر قناة وملئها ماءا.
ثم بدأ في الصلاة صلاة بسيطة:
"ايها الرب الاله، ، دع هذا الشعب يعرفون أنك إله إسرائيل الحقيقي وأنا خادمك. دعهم يعرفون أنني فعلت هذه الأشياء لأنك أخبرتني أن أفعلها. استجبني يا رب، حتى يعرف هؤلاء الناس أنك الرب الإله ويخدمونك مرة أخرى."
فجأة نزلت نار من السماء، لقد أحرقت الذبيحة، لقد أحرقت الخشب! لقد احرقت الحجارة! حتى لحست النار كل الماء الذي كان في المجري حول المذبح.
عندما رأى الناس ذلك، سقطوا على الأرض خوفا وصرخوا، "الرب، هو الله؛ الرب، هو اللة"!.
ثم التفت إيليا إلى الملك آخاب و قال، "اصعد وكل واشرب، لانه حس دوي مطر!"
لذلك كان لدى الملك آخاب شيء يأكله ويشربه، وأخذ إيليا خادمه معه إلى قمة جبل الكرمل للصلاة إلى الله وانتظار المطر. قال إيليا لخادمه: "انظر نحو البحر وأخبرني إذا رأيت المطر". نظر الغلام لكنه لم ير أي مطر.
استمر إيليا في الصلاة.
قال له إيليا: "انظر مرة أخرى". نظر مرة أخرى، ولكن لم يكن هناك مطر حتى الآن.
واصل إيليا الصلاة.
نظر ست مرات، وفي كل مرة لم يكن هناك مطر. حتى سحابة صغيرة لم تكن في الأفق.
صلى إيليا مرة أخرى…
...وطلب من الغلام أن ينظر مرة أخرى.
هذه المرة رأى الغلام سحابة صغيرة في المسافة فوق البحر. "اركض بسرعة!" أمر إيليا. "اذهب، أخبر الملك آخاب أن يجهز عربته وينزل من الجبل قبل أن يبدأ المطر ويمنعه."
مر وقت قصير قبل أن تصبح السماء مظلمة بالغيوم.
بدأت الرياح تهب.
كانت هناك قطرة مطر...
ثم اخرى …
ثم اخرى …
ثم كان هناك مطر عظيما.
انتهى الجفاف أخيرا.
عرف الجميع في إسرائيل على وجه اليقين أن يهوه هو الإله الحقيقي وأن البعل كان مجرد إله من الخيال.
تذكر: يجب على الجميع الاختيار بين الخير والشر. من المستحيل خدمة الله والشيطان.

١- كم من الوقت استمر الجفاف؟
٢- لماذا لم يكن هناك مطر لفترة طويلة؟
٣- كم عدد أنبياء الله الذين كانوا في المسابقة؟
٤- كم عدد أنبياء البعل؟
٥- من فاز بالمسابقة؟
٦ـ من هو الإله الحقيقي الوحيد؟
