Please help me find the Gloria prayer. There is a angry Dad because I didnt pass. I also need the Profession of Faith.
Breanna, age 9
Glory be to the Father
and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
THE PROFESSION OF FAITH
Heavenly Father, I pray for my friend Breanna. She is very upset now that her father is angry with her because she did not pass.
Father, you see everything that is in this dear child's heart. You see the hurt. You see the pain.
Come into her heart, dear Jesus and take away every sin. Give her a pure heart. Make her clean through the blood you gave for our sins when you died on the cross for us. Make Breanna your child.
Lift her into your Arms and carry her through this time of deep hurt. Let her know the deep love you have for her no matter how things go at school.
In Jesus' Name. Amen.

YOU have the greatest website I've seen yet!
Love these stories and occasionally "re-write" them for our Senior Sunday School class of over 100. They love them too! I'll be using A Twinkle In The Dark" sometime in January. Thanks for sending them. Keep up the good work....it is indeed a blessing!
I not only use your lessons for our Senior SS Class....but also for a Care Home Program we do on the first Sunday of every month. Only I use those exactly like you write them. It is much easier for the residents to understand them that way. I also like to read most of it myself, but use one of the men to read any lines that are said by one of the characters. Like I used a deep voiced man to read Joseph's lines in the Joseph story. It really adds to the presentation. I have them try to speak as he would have spoken.

Thanks for this great web site for children & parents. I'm so glad god helped me come to this page
Thanks & God Bless,
I just wanted to say a few words about the site called "The Children's Chapel". I recently found it while searching for a resource for help in teaching a young children's bible study class and I must say that it was definitely a "Godsend". The entire format is easily accessible. I like the way that each lesson runs concurrently with the bible. It helps me to organize my lesson plans and coordinate other activities to go along with the lesson theme. I love the introductions that lead into the bible lessons and I use them with my class. It really helps them to pull the lesson into their everyday lives and they relate better. I couldn't be more pleased. I thank God for your work and I'm eternally grateful.
I want to thank you for your site and let you know how our church is using the 54 children's Bible stories. We use them for children's church, and each week we supply a BIG brown manila envelop with the story, all the materials for a simple craft that is related to the story with a completed sample, a coloring page or connect-the-dots, etc. for the kids to use if time permits, and a finger-play or song that fits the section. We often practice the same 3 or 4 finger plays for several weeks in a row. Then the children perform them in adult church as the special music. The kids are so proud, and the adults are thrilled.
The very nice thing about this method is, it allows us to rotate teachers. (We have teams of two that work together to teach.) Every 10 weeks it's a team's time to teach for two Sundays. The fully-prepared lesson packages takes the "fear" out of teaching, plus is great if a teacher can't make it to church. Anyone can pick up the packet and teach a great lesson without one minute's advanced preparation.
The teachers love the lessons, and we are pleased that it takes the kids through the whole Bible in a really well done fashion.
The lady who does the crafts for the packets has great ideas. An example was Noah's Ark. She took a paper plate, folded in half so it would stand up on the rounded edge and rock when you touched it. She then had the children use a brown crayon to draw the door and windows. (Not that the ark really had windows.) Then the children placed small animal stickers in pairs in the windows to give the effect that the animals were looking out. It made a very cute and easy craft. The kids really enjoy their weekly craft.
Our children's church lasts about 40 to 45 minutes. We start with the story. Then have a snack. Then we do the craft and then practice the finger play(s) or song(s) and follow that up with the coloring page or outdoor play time, as time permits.
We are currently on lesson 33 and the program is proving to be very successful. We have a small church and usually have about 10 to 18 kids in children's church with 15 being about the usual. As needed, we invite one or two of the teens to help the teachers, and the teens (both the boys and the girls) are so tickled to get their chance to help. They seem to enjoy it as much as the little kids, which is great, because we are raising up future teachers.
Also sometimes we do the story while the kids are having their snack. They don't talk much when their mouths are full and seem to pay more attention when they are involved with munching.
Thanks very much again. Please pass this letter on to all those involved in "The Children's Chapel." I want every one to know that their work is truly appreciated!!

Dear Children's Chapel,
I love your website . I enjoy your prayer corner.
Praise the Lord - I love this page. My daughter can't get enough of your Bible stories. Reading them aloud to her imaginary class is one of her favorite things to do.
Thanks so much for your ministry.
Praise the Lord! I received the first story from you. Thanks for the same. As I am a Sunday school student, I find your stories really helpful. It has really made me learn so many new topics. Please continue to send me your stories. Could you also please let me know other sites where I can find Bible stories on the net? I would be ever obliged.
I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the pains taken to develop such an excellent page of yours where I could surf and learn a lot. Most of the stories there are really new to me and I am interested to know more about the Bible and learn from it.
I found your site to be quite refreshing. I copied some of the stories to share with my little girl and her friend. I thought of a way she can interact with the stories. I am going to put them into plastic sleeves and place them in a binder. I am going to have her make 4 drawing and then she can take them to class and share them for show and tell.
I am so happy to find your website. It is very colorful and extremely informative. I have just signed up at our church to do the children's message and was looking for some good suggestions. Yours are just great! I would like to just thank you so much for such a nice job you have done.
I will be using some of your good ideas here in California, and am grateful you have taken the time to share these beautiful teachings of God's word with us.
Keep up the good work.

I am a Sabbath school teacher for primary age children (ages 8-10). I would like to learn more about instilling the gospel into my children more creatively and other ways that would stick to them in their hearts, minds, attitudes, and actions.
Could you please tell me how to print out the pictures in the stories, so that my son can color? I have printed out many of the stories, but the pictures are only about 3X4.
P.S. WE ARE LOVING THE STORIES! THANKS, AGAIN!

I really like this information that you have here. I teach Sunday School at a very small and poor church in Maryland. Your Kids page gave me the answers I was looking for to help my 7 year old daughter understand the plan of salvation. I can never tell you how much that means to me and I will be checking on the rest of the things you have here. Your page looks great. Thanks for your help.
I was very impressed with your version of Bible stories! Thank you for sharing them. It will look more meaningful for children because it is in a conversational style that they will easily relate to. Congratulations too on the graphics and the backgrounds of your pages! They are very attractive!
Hi! I'm a Sunday school teacher for Junior age children, and I also teach Junior church for ages 6-8. I have been looking for a while for Christian ed. sites that would help me with object lessons, craft ideas, etc. - where I could learn how to be better at what the Lord has given me to do. And I praise the Lord for this site and all of the resources you make available, and all of the links that you've provided. God bless you!
PRAISE THE LORD!
I am Sarah Williams. I have recently been apointed as a sunday school teacher at the Anglican of Diiocesse Church. Since I am only 18 and this my first experience, I have to rack my brains every week as to what to teach to the kids every week. I hope you will try and help me.
Looking forward to your reply
As a member of the 7th Day Adventist Faith, my wife and I was very pleased about your website of your children's chapel. We are very active with are young people in our church. With the information we found, it has been useful to our group. The stories especially attracted our attention for our story time. Your church has a good ministry in your children's chapel and I know that God's people who spread he word throughout this world are truly rich with his blessing. We would like to thank you and God because you have been a service in need. Our prayers will always be with your ministry and peace be with you all.

Excellent Site. God Bless!
Hi, I just found this. It's pretty cool. I'm a grandma, here in cordove alaska
I am from Malaysia. Shared this site with my church school superintendent
I think that this site is really cool. I visit it a lot.
I am visiting your site from Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. I am teaching Sunday School for the first time this year, and am teaching 3&4 year olds. It is very difficult to find information that is suitable for this age group. I copied 2 of your stories which I hope to be able to use this week, and two songs. This site has helped alot in my search for information for this age group. If you can show me the way to additonal sites that can help me I would really appreciate it. Your site is wonderful.
I really like your site, but is there any way to down load the stories for use in Children Church. I'm director of Children at my Church and need material to work with, we are a small Church and just starting Children's Church...
I would like to see word search puzzles for kids. I have an 8 year old and a 3 month old. I really enjoyed your page.
What a blessing! I know children around the world will be blessed.
Iceland at the NATO Base
The children's stories are VERY good........And so is everything else!!!
Thanks for the fantastic site.
I have a group of young children who visit our church every Saturday morning to "surf" the net and where they always want to visit is The Children's Chapel. It is also the only site where I can feel safe that they will stay in and not wander into places they shouldn't enter. Some parents also come to this session and they get just as much information and enjoyment as the children from "The Children's Chapel".
This is the one site where they can find anything they want from stories, activities, prayers, songs, etc.
Keep up the excellent work you are doing.

Thank you for the wonderful version of Bible stories that you have put on the Internet. It is going to be a wonderful resource to have as a backup to have to use from small children right through to adults. We will use them at our church, First Baptist Church, Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada.

WOW! This is an awesome site! I don't have any children of my own, but I teach a pre-K sunday school class and teach music K-12 in a small public school in Southeast Missouri. This page was so refreshing! Keep up the good work! :-)
I have enjoyed your site a lot. We are thinking about putting it on Dataquery's Kidz page.

Thank you so much for being the sponsor of this wonderful web site. I am certain the Lord will honor your evangelical ministry.
May God bless your church and pastor.
In His name,
What a wonderful ministry you have undertaken. I just discovered your page and plan to use it as a part of the material for the Sunday school class I am teaching. Thank you very much!
Dear Webmaster & Lorain County FreeNet Folks:
We use - and very much appreciate - the Bible stories. Thank you for providing these wonderful age appropriate lessons.
Some of the other materials I've seen online wouldn't work for us because the content [and conclusions offered] doesn't follow scripture.
Keep up the good work!
