Dear God, help me to understand how VAST the universe
is, and how GREAT you are. And that you do EVERYTHING
just right. It's wonderful to know that you are taking
care of me. Thank you! In Jesus' Name. Amen.
You love me
Dear God, we thank you that you made Adam because
you wanted someone to love you. I thank you that
you love ME with a very SPECIAL love. And I love
you, too. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Show me the wrong things I do
Dear God, thank you for sending Jesus to be my
Saviour. Show me the wrong things I do. Help me
to "be sorry for my sin" and obey your commands.
Thank you for loving me so much. In Jesus' Name.
Amen.
Help me to obey even when I'm alone
Dear God, I know that you want me to love and obey
you, and to love and obey my parents. But God,
sometimes it's HARD to obey when nobody ELSE is
obeying. Please help me to obey, even though I'm
all alone. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
God, I don't understand
Dear God, sometimes it's hard to obey when I
don't understand. Help me to trust you. And
help me to know that you love me and care for
me. And thank you for keeping me safe. In
Jesus' Name. Amen.
Help me be thankful
Dear God, it's easy to be thankful for special
things, like presents and trips and surprises.
Help me to remember to be thankful for things I
don't even notice, like air to breathe and water
and my house and things like that. And above
all help me to be thankful for your loving care.
In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Thank You for being my friend
Dear God, thank you for being the kind of a friend
I can believe. When you give directions, I know
that they are right. Thank you for giving me a father
and mother I can trust. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Help me want to please You
Dear God, it isn't very easy to choose the next best
and give somebody else the best. But I know that
being polite and doing the right thing is what counts
with you. Help me to want to please you.
In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Help me be patient and grateful
Dear God, I thank you that you ALWAYS keep your
promises. Help me to be patient when I have to
wait. And help me to be grateful. In Jesus' Name.
Amen.
Help me be extra kind
Dear God, we thank you that you are interested in
everything I do - both the BIG things and the
LITTLE things. And I know that it's good to be
kind. But it's better to be EXTRA kind whenever I can.
