Solomon: Your Wish Is Granted
TREASURE BOX ACTIVITY

What You Need:

A shoe box or other small box
Gold wrapping paper

What To Do:

1. Cut a hole in the top of the box, large enough for a child's hand.
2. Cover the box with gold wrapping paper.
3. Put scripture verses about wisdom into the box (see below).
4. Have each child (one at a time) pull a treasure (verse) out of the box and read it to the class.
5. Ask the child to try to explain what the verse means.
(TIP: For very young children, the teacher may need to read the verse and help explain).
