Question: "Is it ok for me to tell the devil what a terrible thing he is? Why does it take Our Father so long to answer some prayers...so long that it is like he is not listening to me???? p.s.thank-you ,I am in first grade.Answer: These are very good questions, and complex I might add, coming from a first grader... but valid nonetheless.
The devil is one person you can say all manner of evil against, and you're going to be right. He is terrible indeed, and he knows it! I cannot go so far as to say that you should make a habit of conversing with the devil, but I certainly can find no problem with one reminding him of his ugliness.
Our Father promises that He will answer us when we call upon Him (Jeremiah 33:3). There are also times when He will answer *before* we even pray! (Isaiah 65:24). God may not answer when we feel that He should, but we are assured that He will answer. You might also consider that God's silence may be His means of answering.
Keep praying! :-)
